HTC 11 Release Update: HTC To Launch Three Smartphones In Q1 2017

The HTC 11 release is likely to happen in the first quarter of 2017. The device is expected to show-off three variants.

All three HTC 11 variants will be unveiled in just one event. According to reports, the HTC 11 is codenamed as ?Ocean.? However, this is only one of the variants? codenames.

HTC 11 The other two variants? codenames have not been leaked. A rumor, however, is saying that HTC 11 Ocean will be a very costly device targeting the rich consumers. HTC wants to reach the mid-range buyers as well though with its second and third variants of HTC 11.

HTC 11 Price And Features

The HTC 11 will feature a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560) display. This device will run on Android 7.0 Nougat customized to HTC’s Sense 8 UI. The HTC 11 will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU, along with Adreno 540 GPU for graphic performance, according to NDTV. There will be a 12-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixels front facing camera. The price tag will be around $700.

HTC 11 will reported sport a 2,700mAh battery with Qualcomm?s Quick Charge 4.0 feature. The device will carry also a Hi-Res audio support. It will also have some of the best features that HTC 10 offered. The dual-speaker setup will be one of these features.

HTC 11?s dual-speaker setup may not be as good as BoomSound speakers. However, the phone will apparently have a water resistance feature like Samsung’s Galaxy S7, iPhone 7 and Sony Xperia XZ.

Last week, HTC fans were speculating that the HTC 11 will come out in January 2017. This is thanks to HTC?s invitations that were sent out that says “For U.? The brand also mentioned the date January 12, 2017 with the invitation. For now, multiple reports are claiming that HTC will be launching the HTC X10 on January 12, 2017 and not the HTC 11.

HTC X10 will pack a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080?1920) display. The device will be powered by a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor (Cortex-A53 cores) paired with a 3GB RAM. It will also feature a Mali-T860 GPU clocked at 700MHz. HTC X10 will carry a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS. It will run Android 7.0 Nougat.
