HP EliteBook x360 vs HP Spectre x360: Chinese Firm Debuts Hybrids At CES 2017

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2017 is here, and it is set to feature some of the best upcoming tech in the new year. One of the popular gadgets showcased during every CES are hybrid laptops. This year it is likely to be the same thing once more. Two of the most exciting laptops, which have been unveiled are the HP EliteBook x360 and the HP Spectre x360. This is why there are many consumers asking which laptop would prevail in the HP EliteBook x360 vs HP Spectre x360 battle.

HP EliteBook x360

The HP EliteBook series would normally just use the standard clamshell design for their notebooks. The computer manufacturer though has decided to add a new element with the EliteBook x360 which is now hybrid laptop.

According to CNET, the EliteBook x360 has a 360-degree hinge that allows it to be used as a tablet too. It is, likewise, extremely thin and light as it measures only at 14.9 mm thick while weighing in at 2.84 lbs.

This makes the EliteBook x360 to be an excellent business hybrid laptop which should certainly make it popular once it releases. There is still no confirmed price for the EliteBook x360 but expect it to become available once its January release date has been announced.

HP Spectre x360

While the EliteBook x360 is a great business laptop option, the HP Spectre x360 is geared more for those looking for a powerful, high-end notebook. CNET reports that the Spectre x360 is a gorgeous hybrid laptop which can be used as a tablet too.

When it comes to the specs, the Spectre x360 does not disappoint. It sports an NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card, a powerful processor and a beautiful 4K resolution display. The notebook also features a larger battery than its predecessor which users will highly appreciate. There will be 13-inch and 15-inch options for the Spectre x360 and it also comes in several cool color variations.

The HP EliteBook x360 and the HP Spectre x360 are two great notebooks consumers will surely be excited about. The former is more for business and office purposes while the latter is a high-end notebook option.
