Not long ago, the Microsoft Store listed the Windows 10-powered HP Elite X3 smartphone?for preorder in the UK. And the release date was reportedly noted as August 18. However, it now looks like there is a change in plans and the date has been postponed to August 22 in the UK.
In addition to postponing the release date, Microsoft has also slashed the price of the device bundle from??749 to ?706.80. The device bundle consists of the HP Elite X3 handset and a desk dock,?GSM Arena noted.
Speaking of shipping date, the company could take 5 to 10 working days from the date of release.
In the case of the US, the Elite X3 will be available for purchase starting September 5. This handset will retail at $699. Here, the device bundle carries a price tag of $799, with a free desk dock and a premium headset in tow.
Moving on to key specifications and features, the HP Elite X3 comes with a huge 6.0-inch display, and an edge-to-edge QHD screen resolution. Under the hood, Qualcomm?s Snapdragon 820 chipset powers the device.
