Quick guide on how to use Instagram on your PC
When you are new in a social media network site, it is sometimes hard to navigate through the pages especially if you are not familiar with how they work. This basic guide on how to navigate through the website of Instagram is the solution for your problem; just follow the simple step by step guide below.
Quick and easy guide on how to use Instagram on your PC
Here are the things that you need to learn on how to operate/navigate on the Instagram website, according to?their help page:
- Getting to your profile on the web when using a browser for both smartphone and PC ? there are two ways on how to get to your profile on Instagram, one is type Instagram.com on your browser and the other is to add /[username] next to it to directly send you to your profile or another user?s profile page. Ex. Instagram.com/LuckyBowWow
- View photos and videos ? if you want to view your or other user?s photos and videos, just simply click the home button (house icon) in the top-left corner of the screen. It will redirect you to your feed and from there; you can now view the photos and/or videos you want to see. But if you want to view other else?s photo, you can use the above guide to go to their profile instead of browsing through your feed.
- Profile Editing guide ? find your username on the screen (top-right corner) and click it. It will redirect you to another page where you can edit some information like your name, username, biography, website and many more. However, as for the profile picture, you can only change that by using your Instagram App on your phone.
- Register an account ? sadly, creating an account through your PC is not available for this social media platform. However, you can register an account using your smartphone, iPad, Android Tablet and Windows Phone by opening the App through those devices. You can choose two types of registration process, as stated on their other help page. The first one is register using your email and the other is using Facebook. When you use your email, you will have to input a username and a password and fill up your profile info. For Facebook, the only thing you will have to do is log-in on that social media network and that?s it. Though if you are logged out on Facebook, Instagram will prompt you to log-in but it is still more convenient that way than using your email.
I hope this guide helped you on how to navigate the Instagram website and how to use the service when you are on your PC. Many more guides to come.
