Home and Away 2016 spoilers usually include a number of characters coming and going. And now, two more beloved characters are set to say goodbye to Summer Bay in episodes that will be broadcast in a few weeks in Australia and are only set to make their debut in the United Kingdom in the coming months.
As dedicated viewers of Home and Away 2016 know, brothers Andy and Josh have not been having the best time in Summer Bay. Josh has been revealed as Charlotte King?s killer, while Andy?s feud with Tank was the reason behind the tragic caravan park explosion that has resulted in seismic changes in Summer Bay.
Ever since confessing to the murder of Charlotte King, Josh?s life in Summer Bay has quickly gone downhill. After being charged with manslaughter, his relationship with his fiancee Evie quickly deteriorates, despite all of her efforts to sustain it. The final blow comes when Josh is sentenced to 20 years in prison for Charlotte King?s accidental death.
But in an even more shocking twist, it looks like Josh had no plans of serving that sentence at all. In the most recent episode of the long-running Australian soap, the two brothers make a getaway with the help of a complicit security guard. Josh knocks down the guard after getting the signal, and then gets into a getaway car driven by his brother, Andy. Just to ensure that they don?t get caught or contacted by people they know in Summer Bay, the brother ditch their phones and personal belonging before making their escape.
This marks the latest set of departures from the long-running soap in the past few months. Aside from Josh and Andy, other characters that have left the show include Hannah and Oscar, and Maddy and Ricky. The only new arrivals to Summer Bay have been the Morgan family, who come with their own baggage and have recently been revealed to be in the witness protection program.
