It?s been a month since the last major update to Heroes of the Storm. Since then, Blizzard has introduced quite a number of upcoming updates including changes in Hero Progression, the Artifact system, a new battleground, and the new hero Rehgar.
Now we can get to see them all in action as Blizzard patches the Technical Alpha server. It?s quite a bulky patch compiling their newly introduced content and a ton of bug fixes and hero tweaks.
You can take your time to read and learn the new patch changes here.
Blizzard has been mixing things up a lot lately in Heroes of the Storm. Last month, they removed the Bonus Trickle XP system and replaced it with an experimental ?Underdog Bonus? system. For the most part, the community has been openly positive about the changes. You have to keep in mind though that nothing is permanent at this point. Meanwhile, let?s first see how this patch fairs.
Heroes of the Storm is the latest MOBA-Brawler game from Blizzard Entertainment. In the game, you take the role of one of many Blizzard?s iconic characters such as Diablo, Kerrigan from Starcraft, or Illidan from Warcraft 3. It is still currently in its Technical Alpha phase though, which means the game will be continuing to add and alter content like the one we have here. And do remember, the server will be having wipeouts from time to time so don?t get alarmed.
Also, only selected players are granted access to Heroes of the Storm. If you want to learn how to get an invite, check this post. The game has still a long way to go and so far Blizzard has not announced an estimated release date for the game. But, suffice to say it won?t be anytime soon just like Valve?s Dota 2 which took years before its full release.
