HBO Westworld Releases New Photos; Here?s What Creator Jonathan Nolan Has To Say

By on

HBO?s Westworld photos have been released last Saturday, August 20, and fans are all too delighted. The snaps were out prior to the premiere of the much awaited sci-fi series. And it looks like it could be the new Game Of Thrones.

As part of its promotion, fans have enjoyed a new batch of photos of Westworld. Its production has been in development for quite a while. The photos that we have seen so far give us a glimpse into the characters that will reside in Westworld. It is a futuristic theme park where robots are everywhere to attend to the desires of man.

The story is based on a 1973 film by Michael Crichton, which starred Yul Brynner. Now this new HBO series promotes their banner cast led by Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris and Evan Rachel Wood. James Marsden, Thandie Newton and Jeffrey Wright are also part of the show, along with appearances from Rodrigo Santoro, Ingrid Bolso Berdal, Jimmi Simpson and Shannon Woodward.

As early as now, Westworld is anticipated to be the next big thing on HBO. Jonathan Nolan is the creator of the show. In order to make it happen, Nolan works with his wife, Lisa Joy, along with J.J. Abrams as an executive producer.

HBO is the same network that brought huge series such as Game of Thrones, The Wire, The Sopranos and True Blood to audiences. Given this fact, we can only expect the upcoming Westworld series to be as big.

According to Nolan, the project made him feel more overwhelmed than all the ones he had done before. These include Interstellar, Memento and The Dark Knight films, which he worked on with his older brother, Christopher Nolan. The British filmmaker said nothing that he had created served as preparation for him for the sheer avalanche of work. Nolan added that what they have is a 10-hour movie. He said that?s actually the truth.

Nolan said it is not a TV series. When they say it is not TV, it means it is HBO. And we believe we know what Nolan means by that.

HBO?s Westworld is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, October 2 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
