Way back in 2013, the Japanese animator Hayao Miyazaki announced to the world that he would be retiring. This means that he will not be making full-length movies anymore and would only concentrate on minor projects.

The news of his return landed him in a Japanese TV special broadcast over the weekend. Titled Hayao Miyazaki: The Man Who Is Not Done, he revealed that he was dissatisfied with the 12-minute CG short film Kemushi no Boro.

Thus, he wants to turn it into a full-length movie. While the special broadcast didn?t reveal Miyazaki earning the green light from the producers, he is seen beginning his work on its animation. At present time, official confirmation is yet to be announced.

However, if a man of his caliber wants to make a film, there?s a high chance that he would get it. On the other hand, Miyazaki?s Kemushi no Boro was originally created for the Ghibli Museum, which debuted in Tokyo back in 2011.

The Ghibli Museum showcases the artifacts from Studio Ghibli which is also co-founded by Miyazaki. Furthermore, the studio includes many films such as My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Howl?s Moving Castle, and Castle in the Sky
