What a great news for Harry Potter fans who want more from Harry and his wizarding world!
J. K. Rowling has penned a new piece about Harry Potter as an adult, especially for the Pottermore website and Pottermore account holders.
The 1,500-word long piece from Rowling has been written from the perspective of Rita Skeeter, a popular gossip columnist of the wizarding world?s newspaper, the Daily Prophet. Skeeter was ?introduced in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
In the brief piece by Rowling, Rita Skeeter who is covering the Quidditch World Cup, focuses on what she thinks is a certain gang of infamous wizards ? Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and other members of Dumbledore’s Army.
The new story talks about Harry Potter, turning 34, with his sons James and Albus and his wife, Ginny Weasley and his career as an Auror, a specialist officer trained to apprehend evil wizards.
Reports said that Rowling has been writing and contributing pieces about the Quidditch World Cup to Pottermore since March, however, this is the very first time that she has written something about the adult Harry Potter since the publication of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows in 2007.
Rowling’s next and final Quidditch World Cup story will be published July 11 which will focus on the Quidditch World Cup final between Brazil and Bulgaria.
However, a spokesperson for Rowling said the famous author has “no plans” to write additional stories about the grown-up Harry.
It could be remembered that there has been an announcement that Warner Bros. is developing a Harry Potter spinoff film series based on the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” book and Rowling will be the one to pen the screenplay for the first movie.
