The upcoming Harry Potter prequel has Potterheads in a state of uncontrollable excitement as a teaser for ?Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them? has been unveiled. A prequel to the best-selling Harry Potter book series penned by J.K. Rowling, the film?s logo has been posted on the movie?s social media accounts with the caption “Prepare yourself for the beasts are coming?.”

Set to open in theaters on November 18, 2016, the first chapter of the film started shooting back in August and is directed by David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter films. Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne stars as the main character named Newt Scamander, a zoologist who seeks to uncover the mysteries behind magical creatures and the author of the textbook of the same name that Harry, Ron and Hermoine encounters during their time at Hogwarts. The Warner Bros. spin-off will span three films and is set 70 years before the time Harry and his friends. First published as a book in 2001, Fantastic Beasts along with Quidditch Through the Ages has raised some ?17 million as of November last year used for funding charitable projects for children.
Redmayne is joined by Jon Voight, Ezra Miller, Ron Perlman, Colin Farrell and Dan Fogler. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Farrell will be playing a wizard named?Graves, who crosses paths with Newt in New York while Tony winner Fogler will play a character named Jacob, a nonmagical person whom Newt befriends.
In an?interview with The Telegraph, producer David Heyman praised Rowling’s debut scriptwriting work: “She is so smart, and her turn of phrase, the precision of the language she uses, is a joy to behold.” Heyman’s company, Heydey Films, has produced all eight Harry Potter films.
