Harry Potter Comic Book ‘Love is Love’ To Explore Dumbledore’s Sexuality

Harry Potter fans will be celebrating two things in the release of the Harry Potter Comic Book. First, the series? official comic book debut; and second, Dumbledore?s pride. And J.K. Rowling?s given her go-signal to push the celebration through.

Though Harry Potter readers probably already know that Dumbledore is gay, there the headmaster of Hogwarts wasn?t really open about it. In fact, it wasn?t him who confirmed his sexuality, but J.K. Rowling herself, back in 2007.

With the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, comes the introduction of Grindelwald, the love interest of Albus Dumbledore. And now, rainbows seem to be escalating rapidly with the release of the Harry Potter Comic Book.

People have seen the emotional event that the LGBT Community had to go through after the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting. ?With this, the Harry Potter Comic Book entitled Love is Love will feature the LGBT characters in the fictional series to show support for the victims.

Fans can also see a single illustrated panel that includes Harry, Hermoine, and Ron in the Harry Potter Comic Book. The three will be seen raising their wands up, creating a pride rainbow supporting the pride of their headmaster, Albus Dumbledore.

According to Gizmodo, the Harry Potter Comic Book will also be another way for Dumbledore to actively have his sexuality explored. Since there hasn?t really been any open discussion about Dumbledore?s sexuality, J.K. Rowling thinks that it would be great to finally see Dumbledore share his queer status with the people surrounding him.

Harry Potter Comic Book Release Date and Price

There really isn?t any reason not to buy the comic book. I mean, you get to read Dumbledore finally share about his sexuality. Plus, you get to support the victims of the Orlando shootout, since all the proceeds will go to Equality Florida?s fund for all the survivors and victims of the shootout.

Furthermore, it comes with a very low price. The Harry Potter Comic Book comes out for only $10 on December 28. Seriously, what?s not to buy?
