Ehrenreich was introduced in the ?Future Filmmakers? panel in the Star Wars Celebration in London. In a report by ET, the directors, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, revealed that Ehrenreich was chosen as the new Han Solo from a total of 3,000 auditions across the world. It was also revealed that Ehrenreich, only 26 years old, was the first to audition for the part–something that is quite impressive.
He too was very welcomed by another franchise actor playing Finn, John Boyega. Ashley Crossan tweeted that Boyega reassured Ehrenreich that he will be fine and he has ?that charm stuff down.?
"You're going to be fine. You've got that charm stuff down" – John Boyega's advice to Alden Ehrenreich haha.

Ehrenreich is best known for his work in Blue Jasmine by Woody Allen and Coen Brothers? Hail, Caesar! Ehrenreich has worked with great directors, in fact his film debut was on Francis Ford Coppola?s Tatro–an independent film that was released in 2009.
Directors Lord and Miller, as per Deadline, revealed that they moved to London and are working on the script with scriptwriters Lawrence Kasdan and son, Jon Kasdan. They have six months prep time. The movie is expected to come out on May 25, 2018. Why couldn?t they make it on May the 4th?
On the Star Wars Episode VIII front, it was revealed that they will be zooming in on characters in this installation. There will be more focus, they will be challenged and pushed deeper.
