Last year was packed with talks about Halo 5: Guardians, the latest Halo installment by 343 Industries. After taking up the responsibility from Bungie in 2009, 343 Industries has been working on the Halo games. The story of Halo 5: Guardians ended up being complex as it covers many different things from the universe. The developer has also introduced a bigger threat in the game. But overall, this is not the point wherein Halo fans want the series to be concluded.
It is obvious that players will be fighting against Cortana in Halo 6. As Locke and Master Chief, players might?fight against the guardians while working with the Arbiter troops in search of the UNSC Infinity. We know that there will definitely be Halo 6 and even the developer has talked about the game.
In an interview with GamesRadar, VP of 343 Industries, Bonnie Ross, and Microsoft?s Franchise Development Director Frank O’Connor discussed the future of the Halo series. The duo has already revealed their plans for the next 10 years. In the interview, they said that the companies have multiple ways to strengthen the sci-fi universe.
Microsoft and 343 Industries has been mum regarding the Halo 6 release date. For the gameplay, fans can expect some new characters debuting into the Halo franchise. In a previous title, Halo Reach, the company introduced the new Spartan type while upgrade to the Spartans has been revealed by the company in previous titles in the franchise.
Another interesting thing about the Halo 6 is Cortana. The end of this story is going to be really interesting. 343 Industries can tell the story where?the Infinity will be destroyed and Master Chief will be presumed dead. But in the end, Master Chief will remain alive and continue fighting against the Mendicant Bias.
