Halo 5: Guardians has received a few more multiplayer maps. After the release of the two new maps this month, from Anvil?s Legacy Expansion, the developer of the game has added another four new maps.
The developer of the game, 343, has also updated the other existing maps. These updates affect?the game?s Big Team Battle Mode. These newly released maps were created via Halo 5 Forge Tools.
Halo 5 New Maps
These maps were also created with the help of the fans of the game. The new game maps are named Unearthed, Traffic Jam, Estuary and Dispelled. The newly released maps can be seen below.
The developers also made some tweaks to the existing maps. The maps below are upgraded visually and some improvements to the gameplay has been added. The revamped existing maps can be viewed below.
In order to make these tasks possible, 343 Industries coordinated with the Halo Community. These includes the Forge tool experts and the die-hard players of the game. Both 343 and the players worked tirelessly in order to make sure that the maps are working as it should.
These maps were thoroughly tested by both players and developers. HaloCustoms, Creative Force, BigTeamBattle.net and ForgeHub also supported the development. The Multiplayer team verified that the maps are ready for matchmaking.
Halo 5 Forge and Arena multiplayer Custom Games is available on Windows 10 PC. Using a keyboard and a mouse, Forgers can easily and quickly navigate the creation tool. The game also supports up to 4K resolution and it now looks better than ever before.
Players can play with their friends using the map they created themselves. Or they can also use the maps made by their favorite Forger via Custom Games. Keep in mind that the computer must be running on Windows 10 Anniversary Edition, or else Halo 5 wouldn?t work.
