Actress Halle Berry?has filed for divorce from?French actor Olivier Martinez. TMZ earlier reported that Berry cited irreconcilable differences as the reason.

The actress earlier made an initial filing under pseudonyms, stating her name as Hal Maria and Olivier?s as Oliver Martin according to TMZ. Olivier also filed his own petition and is asking for joint custody of their 2-year old son, Maceo. Berry is also mom to daughter,?Nahla, whom she had with ex-boyfriend?Gabriel Aubry.

The Extant actress was recently photographed looking hot and ageless in gray pants and a halter top just two days after the divorce filing. The actress was seen leaving the office of L.A. City Council President Herb Wesson. The actress is working on bringing awareness to the?Jenesse Center, South LA’s oldest domestic violence program.

As previously reported,?Berry and the 49-year old actor are calling it quits after two years of marriage. The couple met on the set of ?Dark Tide? back in 2011 and got secretly engaged in the same year.

“It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to divorce. We move forward with love and respect for one another and the shared focus for what is best for our son,” the couple told?Us Weekly?in a statement. “We wish each other nothing but happiness in life, and we hope that you respect our, and most importantly our children’s privacy, as we go through this difficult period.”

TMZ further revealed that Halle and Olivier had a personality clash, stating that she is “very difficult” and “goes nuts when she doesn’t get her way,” while Olivier has a temper, though not violent toward her. The couple reached a breaking point last week after an airport incident involving an LAX employee named Ronaldo Owens suing them for at least $5million because Olivier?pushed a car seat into his chest.

This is Berry?s third divorce and fourth split in the past two decades.
