Here?s something Haikyu!! fans will cheer about – the volleyball fever might be halted but just for a short time.
In a report of Anime News Network, Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has announced in its 16th issue that Haikyu!! Season 3 of the highly-anticipated volleyball manga will return on our TV screens this fall.
This was the announcement teased by the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in its previous issue, where it hinted at an important progress for the manga series. The second season of Haikyu!! is currently on its way to its finale. Here?s a synopsis of Season 2, as mentioned in the Anime News Network: The Karasuno High volleyball team suffered a heartbreaking loss to powerhouse Aoba Johsai, making them extra motivated to be better. They are raring to go back in the hard court and train even more for the Spring Tournament.
The team even went to Tokyo for a training camp and had tune-up matches against strong volleyball teams like Nekoma High. However, Hinata and Kageyama will find themselves lost due to their extreme excitement and will then meet someone unexpectedly.
It should be remembered that the first edition of the anime series debuted in April 2014. It was released on television in North America by Sentai Filmworks. This is simultaneous to the streaming of Crunchyroll of every episode as well. ?Sentai Filmworks also handles the broadcasting of the second season.
Also, good news to Haikyu!! fans on the other side of the planet as Viz Media has announced that it will publish the manga in North America this July.
So for now, catch Season 2 first as it moves closer to the finale. Then wait for few months for the release of Haikyu!! Season 3!
