Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator

The wait is finally over for the third DLC character of Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator as Dizzy finally got revealed at Evo 2016. Dizzy officially comes out on July 18. More than being visual design darling to the Guilty Gear?s fanbase, Dizzy is also known to be a boss character in previous entries which may mean an addition of a potentially strong character. Here?s what we know so far about Dizzy?s release in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator.

As seen on the Evo 2016 livestream on Twitch, Guilty Gear?s Daisuke Ishiwatari appeared on stage for an important announcement. Ishiwatari showed a footage showing Guilty Gear?s Xrd Revelator?s next character, Dizzy, and showcased a few of her fight moves and cinematic animations. Dizzy was already in the previous Guilty Gear Xrd Sign, but she only stayed as an NPC in the game?s Story Mode.

As for her moves this iteration, we?ll just have to wait for her release tomorrow to try her out. Other than her reveals, an update schedule of the game was also detailed along with Dizzy?s release date confirmation. If you?ve missed seeing her short gameplay video, here?s a recording from Baf0?s Twitter.

According to Gematsu, Dizzy assured her spot in the game as she topped the polls, beating other Guilty Gear favorites such as the crossdressing Bridget and the female Samurai Baiken. Currently, Baiken has already appeared in Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator?s Story Mode along with Zappa and Robo Ky, which somehow confirms their future playability. Meanwhile, Bridget is yet to be seen in the game?s story mode.

Currently, the Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator Version only lists three empty slots for this game with the two DLC slots allotted for Kum Haehyun and Raven. Meanwhile, the game?s non-DLC new additions are Jam Kuradoberi, Johnny, and Jack O?. Fans may have to wait for the Guilty Gear Xrd entry to play new characters after Dizzy?s release. Arc System Works are known to release new versions of their fighting games whenever they launch new major gameplay updates and character additions as seen on Guilty Gear, BlazBlue and Under Night In-Birth. We might see the next set of DLC Characters on the Guilty Gear Xrd entry if this is the case.
