By on

As a part of the their all-new, all-different take on their comic book line up, Marvel has announced the new Guardians of Infinity comics.

The new Guardians of Infinity was announced at comicbook.com, the new series will be written by Guardians of the Galaxy Dan Abnett and art by Carlo Barberi.

The new series will be giving a different twist, it will feature the multiple generations of the Guardians of the Galaxy. That?s right, you can finally get to see the original Guardians of the Galaxy (dubbed as Guardians 3000) that first appeared in comics in 1969 teaming up with the modern roster of the Guardians (which we all know from the movie) and even an all-new Guardians team called Guardians 2000

To make it more interesting, each comic book issue will get backup story issue by some of the top talents in Marvel. For Guardians of Infinity #1, you will get to see a Rocket Raccoon/ The Thing team up by Jason Lantour and Jim Cheung.

IN THE INFINITE EXPANSE OF TIME AND SPACE IS THERE ROOM FOR MORE GUARDIANS? YOU BET THERE IS!

Defending the galaxy is a good gig, but Drax isn?t thrilled with the combat hours (not enough of them) and Rocket isn?t thrilled with the compensation (not enough of it). They?re off on an adventure to supplement both, and Groot is happy to come along. But instead of the perks they want, they?re about to get more trouble than they can handle. Good thing the Guardians 3000 are on hand to help! But what about?THE GUARDIANS 1000??!!

Also in this issue, Latour and Cheung tell a one-off story of Ben Grimm and Rocket Raccoon, stuck on a planet where culture is based on Earth-style professional wrestling?but the stakes are life and death! THIS AIN?T KAYFABE, BROTHER!

Guardians of the Galaxy movie

Whether or not this will also see a version on the big screen is left for everyone to guess. But we do know that the next Guardians of the Galaxy movie might have that small possibility of crossing over to the Avengers universe, and that Vin Diesel will reprise his role as Groot.

You can expect a copy of Guardians of Infinity #1 at your favorite comic book stores in December.
