The highly anticipated, as well as the subject of all the PC gaming hype lately is rumored to be launched at CES event in January 2017. Rumors suggest that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is going to be on par with the already established Pascal Titan X. As the event gets closer, the hype for the graphics card grows even stronger, however, will it live up to the hype?

Shipping Manifest Revealed the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti

Apparently, a shipping manifest has made its way into the internet which indicated the existence of the GTX 1080 Ti. In the said manifest, it showed that the upcoming beast of a graphics card is sporting a 10GB of GDDR5X memory and a 384-bit memory bus. Despite NVIDIA?s silence throughout the whole ordeal, the possibility of 1080 Ti?s existence is extremely high.

According to recent leaked reports, the 1080 Ti is sporting the same graphics processor that power the present Pascal Titan X. However, the 1080 Ti is rumored to be aimed between the GTX 1080 and the Pascal Titan X. In this case, it would be right behind the Pascal Titan X but still ahead of the GTX 1080.

However, the NVIDIA GTX 1080?s difference to the Pascal Titan X is quite small. It?is similar to GTX 980 Ti vs GTX Titan X?s scenario. In this case, the 1080 Ti?s position is a quite complicated one given that the GTX 1080?s performance is fairly close to Pascal Titan X. Furthermore, the 1080 Ti is undoubtedly a stripped down version of the Pascal Titan X. ?Meanwhile it’s still keeping the strong 384-bit memory bus.

In addition, 1080 Ti will probably have a reduced CUDA core count, which is less than the Titan X?s 3584. On the other hand, one of the key points when buying a new graphics card is the price point. Obviously, nobody would buy the 1080 Ti when it is priced similarly to the Pascal Titan X.

Shipping Manifest Revealed the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Price

According to the shipping manifest, the price is around 68,000 Indian Rupee which costs approximately $1010 in the US. However, it does not actually represent the actual pricing of NVIDIA. In other words, it?s just what the shipper claimed as the value of the product for customs. That being said, pricing the 1080 Ti between $700 to $800 does seem logical.
