?Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13 Cast: Spotlight Back On Meredith, Bailey, Alex, Richard, The Original Regulars

Avid viewers of Grey’s Anatomy are delighted to know that nothing can stop the show from coming back for its 13th season. A great news that comes with it is that the series? Season 13 will focus heavily on its original characters. ?This means we will be seeing more of the casts that we have loved from the start which include Meredith, Bailey, Alex and Richard.

Grey’s Anatomy Season 13 update suggests that the original regulars will be having the spotlight back on them. It was stated that it is creator Shonda Rhimes? plan to take deep dives into the characters of the original cast members who already appealed to the hearts of viewers.

According to actress Kelly McCreary, Rhimes wants to focus on the characters of Meredith (Ellen Pompeo), Alex (Justin Chambers), Bailey (Chandra Wilson) and Richard Webber (James Pickens Jr.) in Grey’s Anatomy Season 13. McCreary became a cast member in Season 11. She played the role of Maggie, Meredith’s half-sister.

McCreary shared that one of the things that she is excited about is the focus on those old, established characters, as well as the relationships they have. The actress recognized that the original characters mean so much to all avid viewers that followed the series from the beginning. She said it will be wonderful to spend time with these rich roles.

Since it has been confirmed that Meredith, Bailey, Alex and Richard will have the attention back on them, speculations claim that other original characters will be coming back. These may include Izzie (Katherine Heigl) and Cristina (Sandra Oh). No confirmation has been made about Heigl or Oh?s return to the show. These characters play a significant part in the lives of the confirmed original characters to be focused on the upcoming season.
