Good news to all Gravity Rush fans out there, Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan Asia has released Gravity Rush Overture produced by Studio Khara. Gravity Rush Overture is a 20-minute animation that bridges the gap between the original Gravity Rush and Gravity Rush 2.
What?s in store for fans in the Gravity Rush Overture anime?
Gravity Rush Overture features heroine Kat armed with new gravity-shifting powers returning to deal with the unresolved business left over from the first game. Along with Kat, other characters including Raven are also included.
The series will also provide a glimpse into Kat?s deeper gravity-shifting past. Released in two parts, the anime seeks to tie to the original PSVita game and the upcoming sequel for the PS4.
The Gravity Rush Overture anime is now available on the PlayStation YouTube channel. Initially, fans have received a Japanese trailer, but now, you can watch the entire anime with English subs. And the best part of the 2-part Gravity Rush Overture anime is that it?s completely free!
What comes after Gravity Rush Overture?
According to iDigitalTimes, Gravity Rush 2 for Playstation 4 was originally scheduled for an Oct. 2016 release, but was delayed until Jan. 20, 2017. A demo however, is now available worldwide.

Game Director Keiichiro Toyama posted a statement with regards to the game on the PlayStation blog. He expressed his intentions to give its players enough time to get deeper into Kat?s story.
Toyama also added that the team wants to make it possible for more players to play the game at the same time.
As an apology for the delay of Gravity Rush Overture?s release, Sony will be giving out a premium DLC pack ?for free. The said pack will include an ?additional story? to the game.
The anime Gravity Rush Overture will surely be a hit and is sure to excite fans for the second installment of Gravity Rush.
