The premiere of Gotham Season 3 is just around the corner and lots of spoilers have already surfaced. The recent ones revealed the villains each fan should anticipate in the season. Plus, a love triangle between the main characters is possible.
Last season, the show introduced Mr. Freeze and Azrael. But this season, there are several bad guys coming in the show. Lead actor Ben McKenzie teased the fans during an interview on Live With Kelly.
?There?s a Mad Hatter, which is sort of loosely affiliated with Alice in Wonderland, the kind of terrifying guys who gets in your brain and manipulates you to do dastardly deeds,? said the actor. Aside from Mad Hatter, McKenzie also mentioned that Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) is also coming back.
But, it seems like the most interesting villain in Gotham Season 3 is the adult Poison Ivy. McKenzie shared that all of a sudden, the show will present the grown-up version of the character. ?Don?t ask how we?ve done that,? he added.
Now, the comics presented the villain and the Batman having some sexual tension. So, seeing the adult Poison Ivy would mean Batman himself has already grown up as well. Should that be the case, then the upcoming season is really going to be interesting.
Meanwhile, another speculation in the upcoming series is a love conflict involving Jim Gordon. Reports reveal that Valerie Vale (Jamie Chung) is a potential love interest for Jim. The former will have her debut in the upcoming season.
If she would flirt with Jim, she might end up in a love triangle with Jim and Lee Thompkins (Morena Baccarin). However, there are claims that it might not happen as it will complicate things in the TV show. For now, let us just wait for the launch to see whether or not Jim and Valerie will have a thing for each other.
