FOX is to air ?Gotham Season 3? on Mar. 21. The President of Entertainment and Fox Broadcasting Company, David Madden, has announced the follow-up season.
?It takes a very special team to tell the tales of ?Gotham.? For the past two seasons, Bruno, Danny and John have masterfully honored the mythology of GOTHAM and brought it to life with depth, emotion and memorable high drama. This incredibly talented cast has redefined these iconic characters for a new generation, and we couldn?t be more proud of this show,? said Madden in a broadcasting statement, Variety reported.
According to Comingsoon, across multiple platforms, Gotham enjoys viewership of nine million on average. The series also ranks among the Top 10 entertainment programs overall for the category of Men 18-49, while the season ranked in Top 5 broadcast dramas in the category of Men 18-49 and Men 18-34.
The first episode released will be titled ?Wrath of the Villains: Mad Grey Dawn?, where Gordon (played by Ben McKenzie) along with Bullock (played by Donal Logue) investigate the museum robbery case. The duo starts to follow the trail of clues left in the museum robbery, which was left by Nygma (Cory Michael Smith), notes Cinema Blend.
In the meantime, Gordon?s past haunts him. An anonymous person starts threatening him to expose his involvement in Galvan?s murder. Besides, Penguin (played by Robin Lord Taylor) meets his old friends, which ultimately leads the way to meet his father, Elijah Van Dahl (played by Paul Reubens), while Bruce (played by David Mazouz) practices his street smarts.
This season would see villains continue to invade Gotham and Arkham Asylum. Furthermore, Hugo Strange (played by BD Wong) conducts wild experiments and creates even more commotion and legendary villains.
