Google Nexus 2016 is expected to be among 2016?s top-selling devices, especially now that the features of its two variants have been circulating the net. However, HTC Nexus Marlin and HTC Nexus Sailfish are expected to receive some stiff competition from the two variants of Moto X 2016, Vertex and Vector.
Since these devices all share several similarities, we have rounded up some features to help techies decide which one they should get their hands on.
Moto X 2016 Vector will sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD screen and a very thin 5.2mm body. The Vertex model will have the same size, but will reportedly be slightly thicker. HTC Nexus Marlin will also have a 5.5 inch 2K AMOLED display. However, Sailfish will be slightly smaller than the three other handsets with its 5-inch 1080p display.
Marlin will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SOC coupled with 4GB of RAM, complete with 32 and 128GB internal memory options. Its sister device will be armed with a 64bit 2.0GHz Quad core processor paired with 4GB RAM and up to 32GB internal memory.
Moto X 2016 will be packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC chipset and an octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU that would allow up to 2.0 GHz of processing speed. However, it will reportedly have lesser memory support with a rumored 3GB RAM and 32GB internal memory.
Users will surely enjoy taking selfies with Moto X?s 16MP camera and additional laser autofocus and dual-LED. It will be slightly sharper compared to HTC Nexus Marlin and Sailfish?s 12 MP Primary camera and 8MP front camera.
Google Nexus 2016 devices will both run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS, Google?s recently unveiled operating system that is slated for release later this year. Moto X will supposedly still run on Android Nougat?s predecessor, Android Marshmallow OS.
The abovementioned specs of HTC Nexus Marlin and Sailfish will be powered by a 3,450 mAh battery and 2,770 mAh battery respectively. The Moto X 2016 models will be powered by a much bigger non-removable 3500mAh battery.
The Google Nexus 2016 handsets are expected to the made available this August. There is still no definite date for Moto X 2016?s release, but many expect it to happen soon because of the numerous discounts given to its predecessors.
