Google Nexus 2016 Release Soon As Nexus 5X, 6, 6P, 9 Gets Android 7.0 Nougat OS

The Android 7.0 Nougat OS full version release to current Nexus smartphones such as the 5X, 6, 6P and 9 will supposedly follow after the launch of the Google Nexus 2016. Reports have indicated that Google is expected to roll out the upcoming Android N mobile platform as early as next month together with the new Nexus smartphone.

Google has already confirmed that its upcoming Android mobile platform will be named as Nougat but there is still no details regarding its official release date. According to reports, Google laid out a schedule of its Android 7.0 Nougat OS which included five developer previews before the official full version.

Tech Radar mentioned that an August release date for the mobile platform is possible since Google is already in its fourth developer preview. But other reports have suggested that a practical release date to look forward to could be one more month.

Reports have mentioned that top Chinese mobile developer Huawei is also expected to take charge and develop the anticipated Google Nexus 2016 and that there are still no official details regarding the release date of Nexus smartphone. Huawei have also yet to confirm if the Google Nexus 2016 will have the Android 7.0 Nougat OS after the mobile platform?s reveal.

Other mobile developers have mentioned their inclination to upgrade to the latest mobile platform. A number of reports have stated that HTC will offering its flagship devices such as the HTC 10, One M9 and M10 so they can be updated with the Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

It was mentioned that HTC may also be making new smartphones for Google supposedly labelled as the new Google Nexus 2016 models. Venture Beat reporter Evan Blass previously tweeted that the tech company will be making ?a pair of Android N devices for Google internally dubbed M1 and S1.?

Supposedly, we may need to wait for the official release date of the Android 7.0 Nougat OS to see if either HTC or Huawei will be the one revealing the new Nexus smartphones.
