Godzilla 2 is promising bigger and better fights for Godzira, a result after fans clamored for more screen time to see the heroic giant slay new monsters.

While Godzilla became a box office success after earning a total of $524 million worldwide, many viewers clamored for more action from Godzilla as the M.U.T.O.S and the human protagonist hogged the spotlight. Legendary Studios looks to address all problems in the sequel as a bigger and better film is being promised, comicbook reported.

?The response to the first film was really exciting, but now that the world is established, we can do bigger and even better things. We?re really stoked,? scriptwriter Max Borenstein told Collider at an interview.

More action and less tease is promised in the sequel.

The upcoming film looks to be a truly enjoyable flick as Godzira won?t be fighting only one type of monster. Announced to appear are classic terrifying Kaijus such as the three-headed dragon ?Ghidorah?, divine moth ?Mothra?, and the giant pteranodan ?Rodan?.

Borenstein said he is already writing the script for the film and his duties as executive producer and writer on Minority Report will not hinder him from Godzilla 2. He however doesn?t want to go much into details on what we?ll see in the film.?I?m writing it now, and it?s really going to be great,? Borenstein said. ?I don?t want to go off book and tell you anything that I?m not allowed to tell you.?

Director Gareth Edwards will finish first the star wars film spinoff, Star Wars Anthology: Rogue One, before movie onto Godzilla 2, Slash Film reported.

Godzilla 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 8, 2018, Variety reported.

Japan Godzilla Movie

Japan doesn?t want to be left-out from the success on the Godzilla movie released by Warner Bros as Toho is making their own version which promises to amaze everyone with its top-of-the-line special effects with the help of Attack on Titans movie director Shinji Higuchi.

Higuchi said the?hybrid technology used for?Attack on Titan will be applied for all Kaiju in Japan?s Godzira.

?The work combines computer graphics with manipulating a towering doll of rippling red muscle that resembles a giant biological anatomy chart, as well as special-effects filmmaking, using actors moving through miniatures, to depict grotesquely enlarged humans,? AP reported via io9.

Higuchi promises that the Toho Japan Godzilla reboot will deliver everything that fans loved and drop all the ?excess? that eventually killed the franchise.
