Gilmore Girls Revival on Netflix: Release Date Confirmed; See New Trailer Here

By on

Netflix has confirmed the release date of the Gilmore Girls revival and it?s coming on the 25th of November 2016. Recent reports reveal that the show will basically summarize all of its past seasons into a four-part event. It will be a short revival, that is, if you try to compare the original series of the Gilmore Girls.

For a four-part event trying to compress a whole season with 20 episodes in just one part, it?s pretty tight. The Gilmore Girls revival will feature a 90-minute one part airtime, a far cry from what it usually had, which was a 40-minute airtime per episode in the past.

It?s definitely better than not having anything from the dynamic mother and daughter tandem. And for fans who have been wishing for the show to return, this will be something short, sweet and special. Meanwhile, along with the revelation of the Gilmore Girls revival release date is a new promo trailer that features the mother and daughter having a conversation at the dinner table.

Entitled ?A Year in the Life,? the said revival is expected ?to focus on the highlights of past Gilmore Girls seasons, but as the trailer implies, some things will be different. Take for example their topic of discussion wherein, they still have some of the nonsense debates, but their subject of discussions have changed too.

In an interview with Lauren Graham who plays Lorelai in Gilmore Girls, she said ?It was easy. It was joyous. It was fun. It was exhilarating. It was the old show. There was no sense of having to resuscitate something. It was meant to continue.? The four-part event will also see the return of most of the show?s original characters, something that will bring fans a sense of being at home.

Are you looking forward to watch the Gilmore Girls revival on Netflix? Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life will return on Netflix on November 25 with the streaming site servicing its viewers at 3:01 a.m. ET/12:01 a.m. PT. Don?t miss the events on the show by reading on TheBitbag.
