There are new things to do in Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Wildlands with the Narco Road DLC finally available for the game. What looked like a promising piece of extra content is currently on the receiving end of harsh criticisms as the community isn’t happy with the Narco Road DLC. Players’ Ghost Recon Wildlands Narco Road review and impressions are pouring in and Ubisoft should be alarmed.
A lot of players are sharing their Ghost Recon Wildlands Narco Road review and there are little to no praises for the expansion. It would’ve been fine if Narco Road was a free addition, but Ubisoft charged players $14.99 for the DLC and everyone is outraged with the work the developer has done.
Redditor WizzyWizzardGaming shares his Ghost Recon Wildlands Narco Road review and impressions. The player is obviously not happy with the DLC which he dubs as the “worst, laziest, most frustrating DLC” he’s ever had a hand on. There’s a lot of reasons why the reddit user and several others are unhappy with the expansion.
First off, the plane flight controls that players didn’t like in the base game are terrible in Narco Road. This complaint isn’t surprising considering many were unsatisfied with how vehicles felt in the main game.
Over at the Ubisoft forum, user SiriusSauce also shares his frustrations over the Narco Road DLC. The players points out that the Narco Road DLC is a boring piece of extra content that pushes players to do repetitive and boring tasks; all of which they can experience in the base game.
Meanwhile, Game Revolution is also done with their Ghost Recon Wildlands Narco Road review. They gave the piece of DLC a score of 1 out of five. The reviewer’s only positive comment is that it had “one or two fun missions.”
It’s obvious that the DLC isn’t sitting well with players and while everyone has their own qualms with Narco Road, there are some common complaints about it. From the get-go, players can easily point out that Ubisoft just re-used a map from the base game for Narco Road. Many expected a new area to explore.
Overall, what players hate about the Narco Road DLC is it’s lack of actual “new” content and the lackluster story. Since there are other DLCs to come out, Ubisoft should take note of what fans are thinking of Narco Road.
