Game developer, The Coalition has promised fans a better gaming experience for “Gears of War 4”?when it lands the PC platform. It looks like they delivered as the PC version of the game now has an excellent, dynamic resolution that can be highly compared to its Xbox One version. With a different frame rate based on the player mode, ?Gears of War 4? has an average framerate of 30fps for single player and a locked framerate of 60fps for the multiplayer.
In his statement with Eurogamer, technical director Mike Rayner said ?Our focus on PC is to deliver a highly optimized, customizable experience first and foremost?.offer proper unlocked frame-rate support that gamers expect on day one.” Some of the key developments made for ?Gears of War 4? on PC include benchmarking mode, dynamic resolution and higher resolution textures that can reach 4K.
He also added ?Along with more settings, we’re putting extra time into making it clear what impact a setting will have on GPU/CPU/VRAM so there is a clear correlation between a setting change and its performance impact.?
Explaining the super-sampling system of ?Gears of War 4,? Rayner revealed some of the few things players need to understand about the game. ?We will support super-sampling and have come up with a neat system using the dynamic scaling created for Xbox. You can super-sample, let’s say up to 4K, and then enable dynamic scaling and set the maximum amount of scaling you want to allow so you can maintain a very crisp image with scaling kicking in where needed and only to the amount you consider acceptable.”
The Coalition revealed that, since the beta version of the game early this year; a lot has been changed and if fans want to experience that, this is the best time to do it. Also, a movie adaptation of “Gears of War 4“?is underway. The game will launch on the Xbox Play Anywhere on October 11. Are you looking forward to play ?Gears of War 4? on the PC platform?
