Gears Of War 4 January Update: The Biggest Changes Coming This Month

The Coalition previously announced a big Gears of War 4 January update. As gamers eagerly wait for the patch to go live, let us take a quick look on the changes that it will bring. Also, read further to know when the developers will release the update.

The developers announced that a huge ‘season 2’ patch will arrive this month. With that being said, gamers should expect a lot of changes to happen in the game. So, here are some of those you should anticipate:

New Craftable Card Content

The update will bring a massive drop of new craftable card content. Details also showed that these new cards will include new weapon skins and character skins that may reach hundreds in number.

Speaking of new weapons, the post also mentioned that The Coalition is also planning to address weapon tuning for the Social/Core playlists. The developers promised to do some internal tests on some changes over the next month.

UIR Card Packs

After fans criticized TC about these packs, the team has already scheduled a meeting to discuss the matter. The Gears of War 4 January update is also going to improve the UIR Pack structure as well as the user experience. Unfortunately, there is no other details available about the changes. But, gamers should expect a post soon disclosing information about the improved UIR card packs.

Crossplay No More?

Lastly, the patch may also remove crossplay from the game. But, for those who love the mode, do not worry that much as it is still being discussed by the developers. Whether or not crossplay would stay in the game, The Coalition will announce it by the end of the month. If ever they will remove crossplay, the developers are expected to introduce an alternative.
