Gamescom 2015 Update: Microsoft, Square Enix, Ubisoft And More To Allow Gamers Try Biggest Games Of The Year

By on

Gamers will finally get to play all their favorite games on large booths from a gigantic show floor and get a get sight of new video game reveals, teasers, and gameplay demos when Gamescom hits this August 5, 2015.

Gamescon is promising?to be the ?Next Level of Entertainment? as they are set to host over 700 exhibitors from 47 countries, the official gamescom website said. The United Kingdom (U.K.) will be Gamescom?s official partner with the event starting on August 5 for trade visitors and will be open for the general public from August 6 to August 9.

If you don?t think that Gamescom is a big deal, Gamescom gathered 345,000 visitors last year. Events like these gather geeks all over the world and will surely make an impact on a country?s economy. A similar entertainment event, Comic Con in San Diego, was voted by its residents to be more important than their country?s football team. But Comic Con has a lesser attendance-rate compared to Gamescom?s 345,000 as it only got 130,000 attendees in 2014.

To keep everyone afloat on what to expect from Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, we have compiled all the games that will make an appearance and categorized them by publishers, courtesy of IGN. If you?re however hoping for a bevy of unannounced titles of sequels or new IPs from Sony and Nintendo, don?t expect any announcement of first party games from them as they have officially said they will be skipping the event. Only Microsoft, Electronic Arts (EA), and Blizzard will be holding a conference.
