Game of Thrones Season 6 is down to its last three episodes and based on their titles, we at least have an idea about what the remaining episodes will be about. Episode 8 titled ?No One? will obviously focus on the Arya storyline and we have three major predictions about this Sunday?s episode.
?Who are you??
Is Arya on the right track to finally becoming ?no one?? Or is her true identity, as Arya Stark of Winterfell, still pulling her towards her duty as a Stark? Well, this first prediction would somehow shed some light on her true purpose.
Syrio Forel has been with Arya all along
As recalled, Syrio Forel is the Braavosi sword master who was Arya?s mentor back at the Red Keep in Season 1. Syrio had saved Arya from Ser Meryn Trant, whom Arya believed had killed her mentor. But we never saw that Syrio was indeed killed by Ser Meryn, so it might be possible that he is still alive and is in Braavos. Not only that, the Faceless Man, Jaqen H?ghar?s true identity could even be Syrio Forel, meaning he has been with Arya all along. So what will Syrio?s role be?
Last episode, Arya was stabbed a few times in the gut by the Waif, and according to a theory by Vanity Fair, this has been part of Arya?s plan or ?theatrical sketch? all along (perhaps inspired by Lady Crane). Though the stabbing was real and the pain was real but her plan was to draw the Waif out. Maybe Arya will lure her to a dark place and that?s where they?ll fight because, as recalled, Arya had some training fighting blind and he will have the advantage against the Waif in the dark.
Another face will be added to the wall pretty soon. And if a girl does succeed and Jaqen is really Syrio in disguise, then he might be able to help a girl on her mission back in Westeros, and disguise herself as her father perhaps?
Lady Stoneheart is with the Brotherhood Without Banners
As book fans know, Lady Stoneheart is the undead and vengeful Catelyn Stark who was resurrected by the Red Priest, Thoros of Myr, with the help of Beric Dondarrion. This happened in book 3 and it seems that the show has skipped the Lady Stoneheart arch many times over. But according to iDigitalTimes, the upcoming episode might be the best and last chance for the show to introduce the resurrected Catelyn on TV.
Last episode, we saw that Sandor Clegane is alive and has been helping out at a hippie commune with the man that saved him. But unfortunately, they were all killed by the Brotherhood without Banners and it appears that The Hound will return to the way of vengeance and violence. If The Hound does go face-to-face with the Brotherhood, then he will most likely encounter Ser Beric and potentially Lady Stoneheart. As recalled in Season 2, The Hound had a sword fight with Ser Beric and it will be interesting to see them come face-to-face once more.
Brienne and Jaimie Will Fight to the death
In the preview for episode 8, we saw Brienne and Jaime meeting again at Riverrun and now in opposite sides of the battlefield. ?Brienne says, ?Should I fail to persuade the Blackfish to surrender, and if you attack the castle, honor compels me to fight you.? And Jaime replies, ?I love Cersei, and if I have to slaughter every Tully who ever lived to get back to her, that?s what I?ll do.?
If this all ends in a fight, it?s a battle of honor and love, who will win?
