?Game of Thrones? star Emilia Clarke apparently doesn?t want any part when it comes to sex scenes. Actress Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, recently shared her sentiments for explicit and mature sex scenes, which have been featured on some of the episode of the popular HBO series, shared by the Hollywood Reporter.
?Sex scenes should be more subtle,? Clarke said in an interview with Daily Mail. ?I?m British, so I cringe at that sort of thing anyway ? I can?t stand it.? The ?Terminator: Genisys? star also had a problem with the idea of sex as a give and go on movies and TV shows. ?I don?t want to have sex thrown in my face, and I?ve always thought the suggestion is so much more titillating than the act itself,? she shared.
Emilia Clarke recently ?refused to appear in any more topless shots? in Game of Thrones two years ago, according to co-star Oona Chaplin, who also said that Emilia told the HBO heads that she wanted to be known for her acting, not her breasts, posted by Daily Mail. ?Most sex scenes you see in films or on TV are gratuitous and they?re usually just to attract an audience,? Clarke adds, ?on screen, the subtler the better.? Apparently an opposite view of what Game of Thrones is being perceived as.
As for thoughts on being nude for the big screen, the ?Game of Thrones? actress was ?over it,? supposedly turning down the lead role in ?Fifty Shades of Grey.? ?I?d done nudity before and was concerned with being labeled for doing it again,? Clarke said in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
