Following the?photo leak showing the actual Samsung Galaxy Note 7, we now have the alleged price of this device. The radical design change and the cutting-edge configurations made this year?s flagship series Galaxy S7 a?huge success across the globe.

Needless to say, the South Korean tech giant will command a high price for the Galaxy Note 7?a series Samsung can always bank on. Unlike other Galaxy handsets, the Note series comes with an S-Pen stylus to make the handset appeal to target audience that look for both work and play.

Galaxy Note 7 Price

SamMobile, citing an anonymous but credible source, says the Galaxy Note 7?s base model will set the buyers back by ?849 in Europe, which is apparently ?50 more than the retail price of the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Going by today?s exchange rate, this price translates to $940. However, there has never been a scenario, where the literal exchange rates have come true when the device gets released. Hence, it?s safe to assume that the Note 7 is going to be very costly in the U.S, but it?ll not cross $900. Instead, it might stay slightly above the $800 ambit.

How Will Samsung Justify the Heavy Galaxy Note 7 Price?

Rumors suggest that the Galaxy Note 7 will not be released as a ?flat screen? variant, like the current-generation Galaxy Note 5. Instead, the South Korean tech giant is apparently planning to go-big-or-go-home with the upcoming device. Meaning, the Note 7 will flaunt curved-edge display similar to the ?Edge? variants of the flagship lineup.

On the contrary, past rumors suggested that Samsung is planning to release two variants of the Note 7 series. One of them will feature a flat screen, whereas the other will house the dual curved-edge display.

If Samsung decides to stick to the curved-display design, the price will naturally be high.

New Galaxy Note 7 Specs

While other?rumored specifications remain the same, a new report says the Galaxy Note 7 might come powered by an over-clocked ?Snapdragon 821? chipset. On the contrary, a couple of months back, reports suggested that Samsung might opt for ?Snapdragon 823.?

With no official word from Samsung to confirm the configurations, readers are advised to take these rumors with a truckload of salt.
