To be precise, it will be on an exclusive deal with Apple for two weeks before being released on other streaming sites such as Spotify and Tidal. Also, the August 5 release will be months earlier than what was previously teased November 13 launch.

Furthermore, if the Frank Ocean album will really hit the market this Friday, it would follow the albums of Drake, Future, Chance the Rapper, and The 1975, who also had their projects exclusively released on Apple Music. With regards to the content, Boys Don?t Cry is expected to be launched with a major video and a printed publication that has a title similar to the album itself and will be distributed through Apple Stores as well.

In addition, the album?s launch is said to be live on Ocean?s official website, Boysdontcry.co, as well as on Apple Music. The album is expected to feature several collaborators such as Rodney ?Darkchild? Jerkins, Happy Perez, Charlie Gambetta, and Kevin Ristro, who could all be present during the release.
