Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location Release Date

Recently, Five Nights at Freddy?s creator Scott Cawthon has clarified to fans that erroneous news has spread out about the Five Nights at Freddy?s Sister Location release date. Cawthon said that any definite dates for game?s release aren?t true as it was a fake account that announced the date. Currently, Cawthon?s upcoming game is slated to be released this coming October with no definite date.

According to Cawthon himself on a Steam discussion thread, Cawthon explained that there has some fraud Social Media accounts pretending to be him and announcing wrong info about Five Nights at Freddy?s Sister Location. Cawthon corrected that these announced dates were wrong and shouldn?t be taken seriously, like this one Twitter account that misspelled his last name.

Currently, the Five Nights at Freddy?s Sister Location Steam Page has listed an October release window for the game. Once that month hits, players can now avidly await for the game?s release any day of that month. Unless Scott Cawthon announces a definite date, players may have to wait for a full month to see the game?s release.

Previously, Cawthon has promised that he won?t release Five Nights at Freddy?s Sister Location early like the other FNaF games. Most of Cawthon?s FNaF entries were released earlier than its expected release date. Cawthon swore off this trend after his experience on FNaF World where he pulled it out himself, refunded his fans and made the game free on GameJolt while adding new updates to the game.

More than worrying about an early release, fans may also worry abou the game?s quality as the FNaF games have experienced similar gameplay throughout its series. Players would control a character who could only defend himself if they position themselves correctly against the animatronics. Fortunately, Cawthon has promised that he?ll be able to ?scare his fans once more? with Sister Location. The trailers of the game implies a free roam system which may finally bring their fans off their seats and into an active gameplay soon.
