Recently, a statement about Five Nights at Freddy?s The Ride has been released. Despite being a non-video game release, The Ride is confirmed to have multiple endings too. Here?s what we know so far about the?Five Nights at Freddy’s?amusement park ride.
FNaF The Ride Details
According to AttractionsMagazine?s report, the Five Nights at Freddy?s The Ride participants will be night guards similar to the first game in the series. Players are tasked to survive until 6 AM, armed only with a flashlight and an ability to close doors. Players must shine the light on the animatronics? faces to scare them off and close doors to prevent them from coming in. The ride?s gameplay feels similar to the video game, and this park ride also involves moving.
“Five Nights At Freddy?s ? The Ride is designed to be a real-time, multi-player version of the popular video game, Five Nights at Freddy?s,” wrote AtractionsMagazine. “This dark ride mixes gaming, animatronics, large scale video projection, special effects, and immersive sets and scenery.”
Categorical Multiple Endings
The report mentions the game?s multiple endings too. However, the multiple endings are simple as players can only survive or not until morning. The endings are just mainly focused on whether the players survive the night or not. The Five Nights at Freddy?s The Ride does not have the same approach to endings like the video games.
No Lore Reveals
The Five Nights at Freddy?s entries always held a piece of the game?s subtle lore when tackling its post-game content. Completing the game’s ?Custom Night? doesn?t only pose as a challenge, but the mode could also hold unique cutscenes or mini-games depicting the game?s story. Unless Sally Corporation and Scott Cawthon confirm a secret lore waiting at the end of The Ride, the attraction may be excluded from the game?s lore completely.
Cawthon?s incoming projects
So far, the Five Nights at Freddy?s Sister Location mobile port, novel, and movie are Cawthon?s next projects for the series. Currently, all of these three projects have no definite release dates yet. As of Sister Location?s ending, fans are waiting to continue the story with involvement coming from Michael, Ennard, and William Afton himself. For now, we?ll just have to wait and see what Cawthon still has to offer in these releases after Five Nights at Freddy?s The Ride.
