Finding Dory, confirmed to be a sequel to Finding Nemo, is rumored to release a ?never-before-seen footage? at the Walt Disney D23 Expo this August 14.
The official D23 Fan Club website said numerous surprises will be held on the day including Disney Animation?s Zootopia and Moana; Pixar?s upcoming The Good Dinosaur and Finding Dory.
Ellen DeGeneres is said to reprise her role in voice acting as Dory, stating that has long been excited to finally get the movie released.??I have waited for this day for a long, long, long, long, long, long time,? DeGeneres said on the official D23 fan website. ?But the time they took was worth it. The script is fantastic. And it has everything I love about the first one: it?s got a lot of heart, it?s really funny, and the best part is?it?s got a lot more Dory.?
Fans of Finding Nemo seemed to agree with DeGeneres as they have long awaited for a sequel since 2003.

According to IMDb, Finding Dory will be a story about her being reunited with her loved ones. The story will be based on a documentary entitled ?Blackfish?, VC Post reported. Dory will be searching for her parents in the Marine Biology Institute of California and is said to meet new characters and creatures such as a whale shark and a giant squid. The film will not be entirely set on the ocean.
A report said Dory?s mother will be voiced by Diane Keaton while Eugene Levy is rumored to play Dory?s dad Charlie. Ty Burell will voice the beluga whale while Kaitlin Olson will be the whale?s adopted sister, Vine reported.
Finding Dory was originally planned to release this year, however, it was moved to next year to pave the way for other Pixar movies. The film is slated for a release on June 17, 2016.
