Final Fantasy XV Release Date This September?

Fans everywhere have been anticipating the Final Fantasy XV release date for quite some time now, with some worried that the game will be pushed back to 2017. After all, the latest entry into the Final Fantasy series is also the most ambitious, with stellar visuals and a new combat system.

If the article from Gematsu means anything, it seems like the Final Fantasy XV release date will indeed be in 2016. Apparently the official release date of the game is September 30, which will officially be revealed during the Uncovered: Final Fantasy 15 event.

The people who leaked the release date are three independent sources who would know information about the game, making it seem legit. However, no one from Square Enix has confirmed that the anticipated RPG will come out on March 30, so fans might have to take this info with a grain of salt.

Then again, it would be great if Final Fantasy XV came out later this year. The RPG has been in development hell for the longest time since it started as a spinoff title of Final Fantasy 13 called Final Fantasy Versus 13. It was also supposed to be released on the PS3, so fans have been waiting for this game for quite a while.

Square Enix gave fans a taste of the game with Final Fantasy XV: Duscae, a demo that came with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD. The demo is so popular that it has actually been updated a few times to fix some bugs that bothered a few fans.

Is September 30 the official Final Fantasy XV release date? Fans will have to wait for the Uncovered event and find out then. The game is scheduled for release on the PS4 and Xbox One.
