Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius was a great mobile game that came out last year. It may have been dwarfed by the success of games such as Pokemon GO and Super Mario Run, but the game still did great in its own right.
And now, it looks like the Final Fantasy spinoff mobile game isn?t planning to slow down anytime soon this 2017. Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius is planning to add Ariana Grande in a future patch of the game.
The news first broke out on Instagram. Ariana Grande?s in-game character in Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius will not be named after her but will bear a striking resemblance to her. The character in question is named DW and will essentially be Grande?s in-game duplicate. DW will even have Grande?s iconic bunny ears in the game.
Besides the new character?s resemblance to Grande, not much is known about her. The character is not yet available in-game and no release dates have been given out yet. But Square Enix should be giving one out anytime soon.
The Cross Over
As to how this bizarre and much welcomed crossover even happened, no one actually knows the events that lead up to Grande suddenly popping up in Final Fantasy: Exvius. However it’s been known that Grande is a Final Fantasy fan, this may have made her stand out from other pop stars in the eyes of Square Enix. Plus, having her in the game could potentially boost interest.
In addition, could this be just the beginning of seeing Grande in the mobile game market? Many other celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj have already had great success with their games.
It?s not unlikely that Grande could push out her own game any time soon. She certainly is famous enough to drive her game?s downloads up.?
