Several rumors about the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake have already circulated on ?the web but the most recent one contains the exact date of launch and, that is, thanks to Amazon, which appears to have unwittingly leaked it.

It has been previously reported that the release of the video game is going to take place next year with the exact date still to be announced. However, the online shopping website Amazon seems to have the details of the launch as they are sending those who pre-order the game the date of when to expect it to arrive.

According to a user on Reddit, he received an email from the site confirming the order he made for the game. The estimated date of arrival noted on the message is December 29, 2017, which obviously hints as to when the game will hit the market.

Although it is indeed a date to watch out for, it was also mentioned in the mail that ?the release date for the video game listed below has been changed by the publisher? and they would inform their customers as soon as they received the new date of arrival.

Meanwhile, it was previously confirmed by the game producer, Yoshinori Kitase, that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake is going to be a multi-part series, which is expected to have three installments. The 2017 release date is said to be only for the first part while for the succeeding chapters, it will hit the market in 2018 and 2019, respectively.

With regards to the storyline, Kitase revealed as well that there will be some changes to it. He mentioned that the one who will alter the game are the same people who created it more than 10 years ago, which obviously will give them the rights to do pretty much anything they like in the game.

As of now, Square Enix has not announced an official release date for the first installment of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. But for the fans, they are clinging to the December 29, 2017 release noted by Amazon. How about you? Do you think it will really arrive on the said date? Or, will it hit the market earlier than predicted? Share your thoughts in the comment section below.
