Final Fantasy 7 Remake

Recently, a full list of video game companies and developers were confirmed for the upcoming PlayStation Experience 2016 in December. However, Square Enix doesn?t seem to be part of this list. Will there be no Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 updates at PlayStation Experience 2016?

Exhibitor List

According to the US PlayStation Blog, there will be 67 exhibitors in the upcoming PlayStation Experience 2016. Large video game companies, game publishers, and indie developers are part of this list. However, Square Enix or even Disney is not part of this list. However, this list is still considered ?near-final,? so it’s possible for them to catch up and?make an appearance.

Square Enix Updates

Square Enix?s Final Fantasy 15 is about to be released this coming November 29. Players will finally be able to enjoy the delayed game because its developers wanted the Day 1 patch to be included for those who don’t have internet access. With Final Fantasy 15?s impeding release, Square Enix can now focus on discussing updates on the Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3.

Previously, Final Fantasy 7 Remake was confirmed to have episodic releases. Any news about its first episode could be helpful for its waiting fanbase. Meanwhile, Square Enix has been releasing more trailers for the upcoming Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue as the game nears its January 12 launch.?Kingdom Hearts fans have received many sequel and remastered entries that are numbered irrationally like 358/2 Days, 1.5 ReMIX, and HD 2.5 Remix as the years of waiting pass by.

Large Updates

Fans of both Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Kingdom Hearts 3 could expect a large update from Square Enix due to their long silence about these games. Final Fantasy 7 Remake?s episodic?release was announced to maximize the game?s quality. Additionally, Kingdom Hearts 3 previously had more recent Disney releases like Big Hero 6 and Tangled, which could mean a larger universe for its fans. If Square Enix does make new announcements for these games in the upcoming PlayStation Experience 2016, fans will surely be in for a treat.
