By on

Waiting has finally paid off for gamers as the Final Fantasy 15 January update has its official launch date. Also, it seems like the title is really doing great since its release a couple of months ago as stated in a press release from Square Enix.

The developer recently sent a press release disclosing details about the much-awaited in-game event. Square Enix is calling it the “Moogle Chocobo Carnival” and for you to have access to it, there is a few things you should have done weeks ago.

According to the statement, developers have already released additional content in the game. There was the Holiday Pack Free version and the premium Holiday pack, which includes DLC that are now downloadable. Now, for those who have downloaded either of the two, you also gain access to the “Moogle Chocobo Carnival” as downloading the DLC also nets you a Carnival Passport.

Start Date

Speaking of, this Final Fantasy 15 January update brings a special-in game event that will bring an exciting festival. Based on information we know so far, the event might be held in Altissia. As reported by DualShockers, the event will start on Tuesday, January 24, and will run for a limited time only. However, the developer did not mention as to when the event will end, so be sure to be ready when the event goes live.

Considering the Chocobo Carnival Event might take place in Altissia, players might have to progress to Chapter 9 first before they can participate in the event. The event might also be accessible via the Gondoliers.

It’s also possible we’ll see living, breathing Moogles in the event. Similar to Chocobos, Moogles are also the mascot creatures of the Final Fantasy series. As of the moment, there is no living Moogle in the game. So, there are rumors that the “Moogle Chocobo Festival” will introduce them in the world of Eos.
