Final Fantasy 15 Headlines Gamescon, More Square Enix Games Announced

In this year?s E3 2015 press conference, Square Enix has excited gamers with new titles and updates of notable games such as Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Rise of the Tomb Raider, and Kingdom Hearts 3. As another large game convention nears, Square Enix has laid their plans to excite visitors to hurdle to their booth which will be filled with new playable games and showcases.

Gamers who will be visiting the 2015 Gamescon in Cologne, Germany will surely be thrilled as Square Enix stages presentations as well as provide new insights for their upcoming games.

Square Enix noted that they would ?set another mark with the biggest show in our history? after their E3 2015 conference and will make ?new announcements? and ?reveals? in the coming weeks. If this is a release date for the long awaited Final Fantasy XV, then this will certainly colour gamers happy. Take note, however, that they would not be holding a press conference.

Setting Final Fantasy XV aside, here are the other big titles Square Enix has prepared for Gamescon:

Just Cause 3

Square Enix will allow the public to play their game for the first time. With the capabilities of the current generation consoles, expect to stunningly rain wanton destruction and jump towards the skies and hi-jack helicopters and jets with your grappling hook.


Players will get to see players perform high-profile targets ?in exotic locations around the world such as Paris and Marrakesh. Players will also now get to play in sandbox levels with complete freedom. There will be no playable demo but will instead have a hands-off demonstration at the Square Enix cinema.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided

Players will be seeing more from their beloved series. Like the previous entries, you can still choose to approach the game with stealth and action. Don?t worry on having a terrible time with the action now as the developers said that they are making the shooting mechanics now better than other shooting games available in the market. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will also not have a playable demo but will instead show a hands-off demonstration at the Square Enix cinema

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward

The first expansion of the Final Fantasy game has soared players on a new journey and new storyline with new jobs and a new playable race. A battle arena will be staged in Gamescon where players can fight against powerful enemies to win prizes.

More Square Enix Games

There will also be a lot more playable console games including Dragon Quest Heroes: The Woe and the Blight Below, Life is Strange, and the Final FantasyType-0 HD. Mobile games include Hitman Go! and Lara Croft Relic Run.

Gamescon is a trade fair for games which annually attract over 300,000 attendees. This year?s Gamescon will be held from August 5 to 9 in Cologne, Germany. The big event will be graced by numerous Square Enix titles to please the fans and they have announced these games as prepared for the event.
