Recently, the Final Fantasy 14 patch 3.56 removes the time limit for its free trial players. However, the free-to-play content is limited and will stop players from progressing at a certain point. This move is great for players to help invite newer players and enjoy the game’s system without time pressure.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 3.56

As seen on Final Fantasy 14’s patch 3.56 list of changes, the free trial time limit has completely been removed from the game. Free trial players won’t be blocked off the servers as their free gameplay won’t run out anymore. Previously, Final Fantasy 14 only gave two weeks of free trial play before disabling their account until they subscribe.

Free Trial Extent

The Final Fantasy 14 patch 3.56 also lists the exact changes to its free trial system. The patch notes confirm that the 14-day limit of the free trial has been removed. Additionally, any remaining time on the free trial characters have been removed. Despite the time limit removal, players are still hard capped at level 35. Potentially, this move can net Final Fantasy 14 some new players to enjoy the game.

Free Trial Beats Overall Difficulty and Learning Curve

Final Fantasy 14 is an Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game(MMORPG) and needs a subscription to keep on playing. Players will need to keep gathering resources and crafting equipment to be able to play the game optimally. Farming materials for the best equipment takes months of gameplay to reach it. This genre is no strangers to scaring players away with its steep learning curve and time-consuming gameplay.

However, playing on limited subscription time coupled with tedious, repetitive gameplay makes Final Fantasy 14 daunting to play. Players will be forced to spend their time efficiently to make the most of their subscription fees. Ultimately, Final Fantasy 14 is a heavy MMORPG that needs commitment to get into. Its free trial system changes will be able to attract new players regardless of the odds simply because it doesn’t cost anything to play.

Final Fantasy 14 Patch 3.56 Changes

More than the free trial changes, Final Fantasy 14 patch 3.56 also includes the new “The Obvious Solution” questline, battle system tweaks, and bug fixes. New items have also been confirmed as of this patch but will be listed at a later date. Stay updated with more Final Fantasy 14 news here on TheBitBag.
