Final Fantasy 12: The Zodiac Age came out last week, and can officially be considered a success on the PS4, since it’s the best selling game in the UK. This isn’t the only successful remaster to make waves on Sony’s current-gen console, as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has also sold a lot of copies as the third best selling UK game. Horizon Zero Dawn and the WipEout Omega Collection were also in the top 10, showing just how good Sony’s PS4 is.

That’s not to say the Xbox One isn’t doing well, since Games Industry has confirmed that Forza Horizon 3 also made it to the top 10. Funnily enough, the Xbox edition of Minecraft also made it to the charts, showing how popular the sandbox title is. Minecraft was shown of in Microsoft’s E3 press conference, though many were confused to see it to show off the power of the Xbox One X, since the game doesn’t show off the power too well.

Many consider Final Fantasy 12 to be one of the best games in the series, and it looks like the hype followed the remake to become a huge hit. It received a mixed reception from fans back in the PS2 era, but it seems to have aged better for the current age of gamers, despite the lack of fast travel. The Zodiac Age also added a number of features that were only available in the International Edition that was only available in Japan, like the in-depth job system that added more variety in combat.

Simply put, the PS4 is one of the best consoles available right now, even with the lack of backwards compatibility that the Xbox One has. Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, Final Fantasy 12, Nioh and much more make the console a must-buy for gamers. All of these games are available now and are exclusive on the PS4, though the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy might be a temporary exclusive.
