According to reports, the upcoming movie?s set of new characters which include Jack Hyde, Leila Wiliams, and Elena Lincoln has still not been cast. The reports indicated that casting announcement for the characters may start at a later date, before production starts next year.
On the other hand, rumors have spread recently that actress Charlize Theron and supermodel Cara Delevigne will take on the role of Elena Lincoln and Leila Williams, respectively. Fans are even hoping that Ian Somerholder (Vampire Diaries) or Theo James (Divergent) will play the role of Jack Hyde. But it is confirmed that Dakota Johnson will return as Anastasia Steele and Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, so expect a more refined chemistry now that we know how well they fit together in the movie.
Meanwhile, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan might have to prepare for the worst as both lead stars may expose ?more flesh? for the second film. But for Dornan, he?s ready to take on the role of Christian again, even more dedicated. ?I?m looking forward to embodying Christian again ? and getting a chance to show more of him,? Dornan said in an interview with People.
Sam Taylor Johnson will be replaced by James Foley as the director for the upcoming movie. Reports have indicated that Johnson left because of alleged misunderstandings with author E.L. James. Foley will also continue to film for the third film ?Fifty Shades Freed.? Let?s hope that the relationship between Foley and the author can be in good terms.
Universal Studios makes a surprising decision for the second and third part of ?Fifty Shades of Grey? and has decided to shoot sequels ?Fifty Shades Darker? and ?Fifty Shades Freed? back-to-back with director James Foley leading the charge. And with pre-production currently on-going and production that?s set to start in early 2016, we?ll be getting a taste of the sequels a lot quicker than we thought.
