FIFA 17 is going to be launched less than four months from now and EA has decided to do something different this time as they add a new mode on the game called ?The Journey.? Let us further discover what is in store in this new single-career mode of the game.
In the new mode of the game, players will have the chance to navigate the career of young, up-and-coming player Alex Hunter. As shown in the trailer, it is more than just that because there are also cut-scenes from Hunter?s childhood all the way through the early days of his career.
Furthermore, the new mode of the game will also feature Hunter playing for the scouts that would determine the contracts Premiere League teams will be offering to the young athlete. Keep in mind also that one of the main goals of this mode is for Hunter to enter the professional league. Once signed, he could be an instant starter for the team; however, if he would not perform well, he could be sent out on loan to get more experience.
Speaking of the drama that ?The Journey? is going to showcase, International Business Times United Kingdom noted that once sent out, it will be the time for the cut-scene set in Hunter?s childhood bedroom, in which he will be seen all bum out after seeing Harry Kane signed for his club on the news.
In addition, the mode is going to be available for the gamers to control the entire team where Hunter will be signed or just the young athlete. Another factor that will affect the career of Alex Hunter is his dialogue decisions, on-pitch performances (in which you control only Hunter), and what things you want to say over conversations with scouts. But, the most important thing of course is how well you played in front of the scouts.
This mode is similar to the NBA 2K Series? ?My Career? mode where a player has the chance to create his own basketball player and navigate his way through the professional league. However, ?The Journey? seems to have more drama than the 2K Series.
