The Fate series is heading once again to the console scene with a whole new game.
Developer Marvelous has announced that a new Fate game will be heading for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. A countdown timer was revealed under the domain ?project-cosmos?, which hinted at a new game from Marvelous. But after fans investigated by checking the source code of the website, it shows an ASCII graphic of a command spell from Fate/Extra character Hakuno Kishinami.
Then news about the new game was finally revealed at the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu. Fate/Extella will be more of an action game compared to the previous RPG Fate/Extra and Fate/Extra CCC for the PlayStation Portable in 2010. The game takes place after the events of the Holy Grail War. Below is the translated info about the game from Famitsu courtesy of Gematsu:
Fate/Extella will launch for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan in 2016. The scenario is written by Kinoko Nasu and Hikaru Sakurai, character design is by Aruko Wada, and development is by Marvelous.
The game follows the after-story of the Holy Grail War of the Moon.
