?Fast And Furious 8? Not Final Title, End Of Franchise Confirmed

By on

The Fast and Furious movies are widely popular flick despite each film iteration having a different title. The upcoming Fast and Furious 8 will likely keep-up the trend. Producer and actor Vin Diesel confirmed that Fast8 is not yet the final title for the latest street racing action film.

?A lot of people are thinking F8, I just get lazy and say Fast 8,? Diesel told MTV News, ?I don?t know if the official title?s come out yet. It?s never the official title? This is like this is par for the course for the Fast franchise. We never know what the title is officially.

Diesel didn?t disclose what titles are being considered for the film, however, we think that the film will likely slap the number (or word) 8 in the title. Putting the number 8 is highly likely because the latest Fast and Furious film will include Jason Statham as a villain again and rumors are also hot that Fast 8 will be star-studded. Here are all the titles of the Fast and the Furious movies in order of release:

  • The Fast and the Furious
  • 2 Fast 2 Furious
  • The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
  • Fast & Furious
  • Fast Five
  • Fast & Furious 6
  • Furious 7

Fans have long been wondering if the Fast and Furious films will ever end especially after Diesel said that a trilogy is planned for the franchise. Diesel has now confirmed that they actually have an ending in mind for the franchise and he already knows how it will happen.

?But is that surprising? When you?re sitting down talking to a guy that just acted and maybe more importantly in terms of this concept, produced ?The Last Witch Hunter,? which is a fantasy, you know that there?s thought in that.?

The Fast and Furious 8 will be released in cinemas on April 14, 2017. F. Gary Gray (Straight Outta Compton) is now confirmed to be directing the film.
